We deliver meaningful social impact through high-touch resident engagement programs. We partner with workforce housing communities to strategically implement their vision for social impact in their communities. We are the “boots-on-the-ground” action piece for resident engagement and program delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve dynamic, effective outcomes based resident programs and services to meet community demand.
  • Conduct marketing, speaking engagements and community outreach activities within the community
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement measures of effectiveness and quality of resident services and programs.
  • Communicate effectively with residents including newsletters, face-to-face outreach, and support, etc.
  • Maintain all program records in a timely fashion, producing monthly and/or quarterly reports to appropriate funding and monitoring agencies.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough familiarity with resources available within the community particularly for low- and moderate-income individuals and families.

Resident Engagement Officer Job Requirements:

  • Bilingual (both English and Spanish)
  • Property management background preferred
  • Pass a criminal background check.
  • Well organized, learns fast, self-disciplined, and able to multi-task. High emotional intelligence.
  • Must be available to work 5 days per week; Some weekends or late evenings are required based on scheduled events.
  • Proficient in written and verbal English.
  • Computer experience and ability to-use or learn to use software programs.
  • Relevant experience in education, social work, non-profit or a related field; Volunteer experience will be considered.
  • High school diploma required. Bachelor’s or degree in progress preferred.
  • Looking for individuals located in Dallas and Atlanta
  • Hybrid work environment. 40% local travel required.

POSITION SUMMARY

Veritas Impact Partners is looking for a highly motivated and tech-savvy Digital and Creative Marketing Specialist who’s passionate about community, data, and harnessing technology for good.

Veritas Impact Partners is a non-profit organization focused on delivering healthcare, education, and economic resources to low- and middle-income renters across Texas.

As the Digital and Creative Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for all aspects of the organization’s marketing and social media efforts. You will develop, coordinate, and assist with a variety of communications campaigns for resident engagement programs, implementing tactics including (but not limited to) social media and email engagement, designed collateral, community events, and internal strategies and reports.

This role is core to Veritas Impact Partners’ overall mission. We are looking for someone who has excellent analytical and data skills, loves designing aesthetic communication material, is process-oriented, has careful attention to detail, is highly proficient with technology, and is always looking to improve. Veritas is expanding rapidly, and there is a big opportunity for career advancement as the organization grows. This role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all digital communications, including social media accounts and website
  • Plan, build and implement engagement strategies and presences on external social networks including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Develop creative methods for increasing engagement
  • Write, edit, and proof written and digital content
  • Ensure powerful messaging and brand consistency across communications vehicles, including the website, email and print newsletters, campaign collateral, reports, and social media
  • Maintain our email database, deploy ongoing and adhoc email blasts, and pull monthly email performance reports
  • Aggregate, pull, clean and analyze disparate data sources (CRM, Digital Ad Platforms, WordPress)
  • Track monthly metrics and analytics for digital communications; evaluate the results and make recommendations to enhance strategy
  • Work with various marketing tools, external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs.
  • Manage Teladoc data and reports
  • Carry out other special project assignments determined by the Chief Executive Officer

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, marketing, communications, or related field
  • Nonprofit and marketing experience a plus
  • A strong sense of digital multimedia storytelling using video, audio, graphics, and photos
  • Proficiency with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop is a must; experience with Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, or InDesign is a plus)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proven ability to write compellingly and accessibly in different tones and formats with clarity, excellent grammar, and attention to detail
  • Ability to give and receive edits and feedback on written and multimedia projects
  • Experience with and love for working with large data sets
  • Self-starter attitude with a proactive approach to assignments
  • A great deal of initiative, resourcefulness, and sense of ownership; excellent organizational skills to work independently and complete projects and tasks on time and on budget
